Christina Dior originally became known for his “new look,” a collection that brought back femininity and the female form to fashion. It used much fabric and bones for corsets to showcase the beauty of femininity. It is one of the famous French design houses that created high fashion for the rich and famous, sold in exclusive shops internationally. Dior makes haute Couture as well as a complete ready to wear line, plus a high end collection of handbags, shoes and accessories and a well-loved cosmetics and perfume collection. Dior outfits many a celebrity in evening gowns for events. The current head designer for the house is Belgian designer Raf Simons.
