The founder of this namesake line launched the brand in 2004 after noticing that there was a void in the women’s shoe market. He wanted to create a line of well-crafted shoes that were beautiful and that women would feel passionate about. All the while, he also wanted to keep prices reasonably the time. Everything came together perfectly. The Sam Edelman brand became a major success and has even been spotted on celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez, Julia Roberts, Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry.
