3 Spring Scents from Burberry
Burberry has put a fresh floral spin on its original “My Burberry” fragrance — and it’s pretty much like having spring in a bottle. Inspired by budding April flowers after a light, dewy rain, this Eau de Toilette ($98) is layered with bright, uplifting notes of peony, peach blossom, sweet pea, and freesia, and rounded out with a subtle base of white moss, Damask roses, and musk.
The sophisticated glass bottle, with its horn-finished cap and woven gabardine bow, brings the style of Burberry’s iconic trench coat to mind. As with the trench, you can add an extra shot of elegance and have your bottle monogrammed. It doesn’t get much classier than that.
Another refreshing floral fragrance is Burburry’s Brit Sheer Eau de Toilette ($92), which is just a slightly bit sweeter. It features airy top notes of sweet lychee, yuzu, pineapple leaves, and mandarin balanced with heart notes of pink peony and peach blossom. A veil of white musk rounds out the base.
And if you’re looking for some ways to bring spring’s sweet and airy scent inside, splurge on Burberry’s sizeable five-wick candle in Dewy Grass ($495). Its crisp, leafy scent will last all season — and probably into the next. (Of course you can also go for the smaller and less expensive — but just as springy — size ($75).
