Wear-Again Wedding Accessories
How many times have you bought an accessory, or two, or three for a wedding or special event only to shelf it/them afterwards? With a multitude of multitasking accessories in the market you need not buy one-hit wonders ever again.
Clutch: skin is in. Go ostrich or crocodile, and embrace color or ombré. It suits all black or monochromatic.
Shoes: Strappy and wood stacked. They’re neutral and work a city wedding as well as a backyard wedding. Go one step further (pun intended) and look for a hue close to your skin tone. A shoe that blends and accentuates the gams is a blue ribbon winner.
Hat: Yes, a hat. A floppy, straw, glamorous hat will do. Not too big as to block the view of those behind you, but large enough to protect your face and skin if you’re destination is the country or the beach. Remember, we’re not going to the Derby, we’re going to the chapel, so neutral is all you need.
Jewelry: Stick to what you know. Those favorite pieces you don’t leave home without need be enough. Everyday rings and earrings or you’re favorite chunky chain or sentimental necklace are your signature after all.
