The Lip Report: Going Nude
We’re talking about lips here. One of the sexiest trends right now is all about a nude-like lip. Now keep in mind, it’s about a nude lip, not a bare one. From Gigi Hadid to Jennifer Lopez, and Kylie Jenner to Beyonce, celebrities are opting for lighter shades of tan, beige, mauve, pink and brown. The 1990’s have come back in a big way and have infiltrated our makeup drawers.
What’s great about these rich, nude-like colors is that if you want a plumper pout, you can fake it without it looking fake. Just line the shape and fullness you want, outside your natural line and fill in with a nude pencil. Run a matte lipstick over or dab a light gloss over it. The light pencil will wash out your natural lip line so that everyone will be none the wiser.
