Flashback: 80’s Trend
Ahhh, the 80’s, to know it, is to love it. A magical decade we can thank for: blue mascara, crimping irons, shoulder pads, scrunchies, neon everything, Benetton, the fanny pack, Mtv and Madonna.

The most obvious of throwback silhouettes lay in the selection of structured tops and blazers each shouldering sharp edges. Denim jackets, pencil skirts and denim overalls ruled the runways and accentuated gams. Plus enough belted sweaters, haram pants, and pops of metallic to make Sarah Jessica (Square Pegs, anyone), MC Hammer and the King of Pop swoon simultaneously.
Unless you are aspiring to be Pat Benatar it may be a good idea to layer an item or two into your wardrobe verses all ten years. As we can only assume, the 90’s are around the corner.
