It may be tiny, but Hourglass’s limited-edition Ambient Lighting Edit compact, $80, has everything you need. In one kit you have contour, strobe, and brighten for on-the-go. Perfect for the holiday season, the portable complexion-boosting palette includes six shades, all of which use Photoluminescent Technology to filter out harsh light, bur imperfections, and create a snapshot-ready, lit-from-within glow.
The top row features three lighting powders—Dim Light (a very natural beige that works great as a setting powder), Iridescent Strobe Light (a super shimmery, soft pink highlighter), and Diffused Light (a warm, pale yellow that’s excellent for reducing redness).
The bottom trio of shades are blushes/bronzers—Luminous Flush (a pretty golden pink), Mood Exposure (a soft plum), and Luminous Bronze Light (a light, minimally shimmery bronzer that’s great for creating an all-over glow).
While the palette is the perfect size to tote in your purse, the individual pans of color are on the small side.
