Why We Love Lancôme’s Shine Lover Lipstick in Corail Lover

lancome

We’ve been obsessed with Lancôme’s Shine Lover Lipstick collection, $25 each, since it was released this past spring. The 15 moisture-rich shades give lips the perfect hint of soft, semi-sheer color, along with a finish that’s smooth and shiny. Striking but subtle, Shine Lover is the perfect glossy stain for summer, plus the formula is packed with hydrating ingredients, like hyaluronic acid and rose de muscat oil, to keep lips soft and conditioned, even in the sun. It glides on like a balm and has a light, fruity scent.

Our current favorite shade is Corail Lover, which is a red-based coral that was meant for the summer months. It will add a glamorous a shot of color to your look when you’re lounging poolside or hanging at the beach, and because the formula is so lightweight, it won’t feel too heavy, waxy or over-the-top. The color is long-lasting and stays shiny, which is a big plus when you’re out and about. We also love Spontanee, a pale coral-pink, which is a more subdued option if you find Corail Lover to be a bit too bright. And both colors are quite buildable, so you definitely have control over the intensity of each shade.
