Christian Louboutin Python Vulcano Nail Colour Collection
We’ve been loving Christian Louboutin’s nail polish collection for a while now. So we’re super excited to see this brand new set for spring, one that would make the perfect gift for the art lover in your life — the decorative box is reminiscent of the drip-technique paintings of Jackson Pollack.
Inspired by Louboutin’s Python Vulcano collection of scaled-print shoes and handbags, this limited edition set contains three mini nail lacquers in vibrant colors: Salonu (a white cement shade similar to the shoe of the same name) True Blue (a pretty periwinkle blue inspired by Madonna’s hit song), and Hot Chick (a bright, playful yellow that mimics the color of the Hot Chick shoe).
Like all of Louboutin’s nail lacquers, the shades are highly pigmented and easy to apply — two coats create the effect of 20 layers of traditional polish. And while the colors are certainly eye-popping and bright, they’re also quite wearable — just lively and eye-catching enough to signal the start of spring. Plus, the sleekly designed bottles, with their sharp and pointy silver caps, make these polishes a piece of art in their own right.
There are plenty of ways you can wear these colors, but for an easy nail-art look, try painting on a base coat of True Blue, then follow by applying small splatter-like shapes of Salonu and Hot Chick with a marbling tool or detail brush.
