Fashion Week is here once again, and with it comes a fresh avalanche of beauty looks. True, these styles are all looking forward to fall, but some of them can be easily incorporated into your current winter routine. Here are three of our favorites and how to wear them.
Fully Flushed Cheeks
Models walking the runway for labels like Honor and Dennis Basso sported fully flushed pink cheeks that were pronounced, yet natural-looking. You can easily recreate this look with a cream blush, like Stila’s Convertible Color in Sweet Pea, $25. Apply it to the apples of your checks and blend the color into your skin with your fingertips.
Blushing Eyes
Another blush-worthy look could be found on the catwalks of BCBG Max Azria, Creatures of the Wind, Thakoon, Marissa Webb, and Monique Lhuillier. The twist was that these rosy peach shades were applied just above the eyes. Pretty Pulled-Back Hair
Carolina Herrera won this sleek, put-together look; other labels like Costello Tagliapietra and Marissa Webb gave it a slightly looser interpretation. For a tight, slick style, work a general amount of Aveda’s Confixor Liquid Gel, $19, into damp hair, then pull back with a hair tie. Finish with a heavy mist of Aveda Air Control Hair Spray, $28.
