Store Spotlight: All Eyes on Ssense

Ssense has always had a special spot in our hearts and closets. There are a lot of stores that have great fashions and coveted designers, but Ssense is more than that. Its fashions are always a bit edgy, a whole lotta’ unique, and different in a very fashion-forward manner. Basics have interesting cuts and seams to them. Sweats are incredibly comfortable and are more athleisure wear than gym time. Dresses are modern and more Morticia Addams than Cinderella. Footwear is artisanal and even exclusive to the site at times, making us feel FOMO at an all-time high.

Ssense’s latest collections for the Fall/Winter 2023 season are here. Check out 10 designers on their site that we are obsessing over right now.

1.

Rick Owens/Rick Owens DRKSHDW/Rick Owens Lilies

On the Ssense site you’ll find three lines by this grungy and seductive fashion house. There’s Rick Owens, Rick Owens DRKSHDW, and Rick Owens Lilies. If you’re not familiar with DRKSHDW and Lilies, both are diffusion lines with different aesthetics. The former follows in the same dark and moody feel of classic Rick Owens pieces, while Lilies steers into soft basics and more feminine realms. A little of each line wouldn’t hurt anyone. As a matter of matter, we highly suggest pieces from all three of these lines to match any of your moods.

Rick Owens Black Pull On Bogun Boots $2,205

2.

Millie Savage

Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, when you first spot a Millie Savage piece you immediately think “artisanal” and “handmade”. Glittering heart rings, multi-media drop earrings, and chunky chain necklaces deserve a spot in your jewelry box. These are without a doubt, special pieces, but they are special pieces that can be worn every day and they deserve to be seen. It’s very hard to decide on which ones are our favorites because they are all so beautiful.
