Founded in 1978, iconic American clothing company Banana Republic is going back to its safari-trekking roots with a limited-edition capsule collection. The Banana Republic Heritage Collection is a curated line of vintage styles reissued from the brand’s archives, reimagined in new fabrics and silhouettes for a 2020 twist.
Pulled from the pages of the label’s 1980s catalogs, the utilitarian-themed lineup features crisp safari jackets, button-front cargo skirts, belted shirt dresses, utility jumpsuits and wide-leg pleat pants—all fabricated in breezy natural textiles (think linen and cotton) and dyed in warm, earthy tones.
