Hot Trend: Lovely Pastel Pink
What we loved about the Fall 2013 collections is that designers didn’t stick to the typical confines of autumnal color trends. Dark charcoals and heavy mixed brown tweed were present, of course, but one surprising hue made our heart skip a beat – powdery pastel pink. Luckily we don’t have to say goodbye to summer’s best tones just yet, because the soft subtle, luxurious pale pink trend was a major hit on the runways and perfect for adding a pop of color into our wardrobes this fall. For an unexpected tonal arrangement, color block it with pale greys, creamy ivories, mustardy yellows or rich camels. For maximum effect, don’t be afraid to go head to toe in the girly hue by mixing the pastel tone with another trendy pink this fall – very berry.
