Trend Dare – Culottes for Spring

Just as easy as it was to malign turtlenecks for so many years and then welcome them back with open arms, culottes might take their turn in your go-to pile come spring.  Shocked? Yeah, we were too. But here’s the twist we are enthusiastically embracing – when paired with cropped jackets, frilly tops, sporty bombers, luxe sweatshirts and complemented with sky high stilettos, the voluminous pant is actually quite versatile. Case in point – Alexander Wang’s cool’n’casual cropped option, Victoria Beckham’s head to toe all black ensemble or Mulberry’s floral infused sophisticated wide legged pair.
