LustreLife Fashion Week – 4 Designers We Can’t Wait to See

When it comes to Fashion Month, there are certain names that not only host shows, but really are the headliners during Fashion Week.  Partly because we aren’t just seeing a show, we are seeing a grandiose spectacle and partly because the ingenuity of their designs reminds us why they are simply the very best at what they do.  And with every collection season, we look forward to seeing their name in lights, what new trends they set, what narrative their collection will tell and what their vision is for the upcoming season.  Whether it’s New York, London, Milan or Paris, each city holds a few designers and brands as the ambassadors of fashion and these are just a few of the designers we can’t help but feel insanely giddy about.

NEW YORK

Marc Jacobs – After leaving Louis Vuitton, we predict all of Marc’s creative genius will be fully bestowed upon his eponymous label. That notion alone has us positively squealing with delight.

LONDON

Burberry Prorsum – Full confession, we all have a crush on Christopher Bailey. His brilliant designs for Burberry has catapulted the brand from a typical British heritage brand to the hottest ticket in town – chock full of live concerts, rain falls and rose petal showers.

MILAN

Dolce & Gabbana – Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana don’t just throw models on a runway, they produce a high-octane extravaganza.  The 15+ minute long show actually tells a magnificent story, capturing their beloved Italian culture while dictating the season’s trends with their timeless and luxurious designs.

PARIS

Chanel – Karl Lagerfeld isn’t just a fashion icon, he’s not even just a mastermind, he’s a living legend that always leaves us pining for more with every collection he presents. And being one of the last shows of Paris Fashion Week, we’ll go through all of Fashion Month eagerly anticipating his show.
