Alexander McQueen’s Gothic Dollhouse
Dollhouse inspiration makes us think of all things cute and #kawaii. Erdem’s S/S 2019 collection had airy pink dresses and head-to-toe ruffles going down the runway. Marc Jacobs designed pieces with insane amounts of volume and dresses with tier after tier after tier. And then, of course, what this post is all about, Alexander McQueen got on board this dollhouse train as well but took its classic gothic, dark and tortured approach that we all love, know and are addicted.
Floral corsets can be paired with flared skirts and front-ruffle cardigans would look so good with spiked heels. See some dollhouse-inspired ensembles from Alexander McQueen that we would love to slip into for the new season.
