Editor Obsession: Marula Pure Beauty Oil

Marula

Marula Pure Beauty Oil has been on the lips on everyone in the office lately for many different reasons. The company’s products are made with marula oil, which comes from the marula fruit in Africa, and has a 60% higher antioxidant level than the beloved argan oil. This makes for a fantastic, non-surgical anti-aging treatment whether you want to prevent, or are trying to reverse what has happened to your skin. Marula oil has also been used on the skin of cancer patients who had to undergo radiation treatment, with amazing results that showed improved healing. The company is also very socially and environmentally aware. Not only does the company create jobs, schools and community programs in Africa, but the fruit is organic, wild-harvested and the waste is recycled. 1

Pure Marula Facial Oil $58 The elegant bottle and easy-to use dropper will win you over before you even try the product. Lucky for you, the oil is great too and absorbs super fast versus just sitting on top of your skin like some other brands do. Just remember that a little goes a long way.

Lips 2 Lines $28 Multi-function beauty products are always high up on our list. This hydrating balm has time-release pure marula oil that provides intense and long-lasting hydration. It can be used wherever you have dry skin, but we suggest making it a part of your nightly ritual and patting it around your eyes, as well as on and around your lips. While the instructions say to only use on the orbital bone when using around the eyes, our tester has loved patting it under her eyes, over an eye cream, to prevent the cream from being rubbed off during sleep and for intense moisture. Just make sure not to get any in your eyes or on your lashes.   3 4

Intensive Repair Shampoo and Conditioner $28 Each A wonderful duo that won’t weigh hair down, our tester was impressed with how the water ran almost clear even though she had only dyed her hair three days prior. The end result was silky hair and no frizz.
