Caroline Herrera is the elegant and sophisticated collection designed by Carolina Herrera and her daughter, also Carolina. The original line debuted after the urging of editor Diana Vreeland to much initial success and has continued as a sought after line of women’s high class clothing. The Herrera family is Venezuelan and raised their children in a sixteenth century mansion in Caracas, moving to New York in later years, where the business flourished. Today they design a ready to wear collection, evening and bridal gowns including haute couture, eyewear, outerwear, accessories, footwear, and a well-loved fragrance collection. The pieces are all about cool, female sophistication.
