Tadashi Shoji designs leave women breathless. They are intricately designed and impeccably
crafted so that when you slip them on, you end up looking like you came off of a fashion runway.
Born in Japan, designer Tadashi Shoji has a strong art background. It was something that he not
only practiced, but went to school for and then later even apprenticed in. When he came the states,
he found that he had an intense love for fashion design and a beautiful partnership was born.
What he ended up with was a namesake line that he launched in 1982. The Tadashi Shoji line was
meant to be for a gap he saw in the market for women who needed a contemporary market for
special occasion dresses.
